|11/21/2013||WASHINGTON - State, Federal Teams Begin Assessments of Homes Damaged by Nov. 17 Tornadoes and Severe Storms||State and federal damage assessment teams on Thursday began surveying homes in several Illinois counties that were damaged or destroyed by violent tornadoes and severe storms that moved through Illinois on Nov. 17. Five teams with personnel from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and local officials began damage assessment in four areas of the state on Thursday.The teams will work throughout the weekend, moving into additional counties declared state disaster areas.
