The State of Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Illinois Conference Room, 3rd floor at 100 W. Randolph Street, Chicago, IL and in the Conference Room, seventh floor at 500 East Monroe Street, Springfield, IL. These two locations will be linked via video conference.
The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments on the 2013 LIHEAP State Plan to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to implement the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) for eligible households in Illinois.
Copies of the LIHEAP State Plan and the agenda for the public hearing will be available for public inspection beginning on Friday, August 3, 2012, at the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, Office of Energy Assistance, 500 East Monroe Street, Springfield, Illinois or on the web at: http://www2.illinois.gov, http://www.illinoisbiz.biz/dceo/ and, http://liheapillinois.com.
