Illinois’ economy is closely linked to global markets, both in terms of opportunity and in competition. The Global Markets Committee will analyze how Illinois globally markets companies and products, promotes tourism and attracts foreign companies to expand in Illinois. The Committee will identify best practices used by other countries and regions of the world to accomplish similar goals and suggest steps Illinois should take to become a stronger player in the global economy.
