NAFTA Training

The IL SBDC International Trade Center is hosting full day training on NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) on Tuesday, August 12 in Dixon, presented by Mr. Mike Allocca, a premier compliance trainer. To determine if a product is eligible for NAFTA benefits requires an understanding of the rules of origin. This course will review those rules, outlining a step-by-step approach to qualifying a product for this trade agreement, help you apply those rules to your company's products, and then correctly complete and maintain the proper documentation to take advantage of the reduced tariffs under NAFTA. Resources, training materials and lunch are included for $50.00 per person.

This seminar will provide application guidelines, eligibility requirements, and introduce the technical and financial resources available through Illinois' State Trade and Export Promotion (ISTEP) program, which is designed to help small and medium-sized businesses begin to export and create new markets for their products and services.

This informative seminar will provide ISTEP program application guidelines, eligibility requirements, as well as introduce more resources available to U.S. exports.
