The Group Insurance Division is available Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. CST. Members may call 1-800-442-1300 or request assistance via email at: CMS.WebsiteBenefits@illinois.gov.
The State Universities Retirement System (SURS) has group insurance representatives that can assist members with many issues regarding benefit options, eligibility, etc. Representatives at SURS may be reached by calling (800) 275-7877.
Each benefit plan and program has a plan administrator that can answer specific questions regarding coverage.
