2015 Rates

Beginning with the October 2014 benefit month, retirees in the State Employees Group Insurance Program will pay 0% of their annuity for Medicare Advantage coverage.  This amount will remain in place until a court decision has been made regarding retiree premiums.

State retirees with less than 20 years of service will also continue to pay 5% of the health plan cost for every year less than 20. Members who have less than 20 years of service should refer to the charts below for the 2015 plan year rates which go into effect January 1, 2015. See the Plan Year 2014 Rates page for rates effective February 1, 2014, through December 31, 2014. Certain members are exempt from paying the 5% per year premium. See the bottom of this page for a list of exempt member types.
