This workshop educates business owners in how to obtain a Business Enterprise Program (BEP) certification. The BEP program promotes the economic development of businesses owned by minorities, women and people with disabilities. State agencies and universities have a goal to buy at least 20% of goods and services from BEP-certified businesses. Certification with the State opens doors to opportunity with other public and private buyers who are looking for diverse suppliers.
