IL Procurement Gateway (IPG) Training for Vendors and State Users
The Chief Procurement Office remains strongly committed to making state procurement easier for vendors. The IPG is a substantial effort at remaking how vendors bid on state contracts. The IPG minimizes the amount of paperwork that vendors must provide with each bid, standardizes the State's review of vendor disclosures, and provides the public with more transparency. Visit the IPG here: https://ipg.vendorreg.com.
“Illinois Procurement Gateway Application Assistance for Vendors” – This small group webinar is intended for vendors and by invitation only. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have an interest in enrolling in one of these online sessions.

Schedule and Agenda for Sole Source Hearings
In cases where there is only one economically feasible source for a particular item, a sole source contract may be awarded without a hearing unless an interested party submits a written request for a public hearing at which the chief procurement officer and purchasing agency present written justification for the procurement method. Any interested party may present testimony. A sole source contract where a hearing was requested by an interested party may be awarded after the hearing is conducted with the approval of the chief procurement officer. 30 ILCS 500/20-25.
