Government

Government's long-standing role in providing a stable foundation for economic development has been severely challenged by the recession. With income and sales tax levels severely reduced, state and local governments have slashed many programs and services. The Committee will analyze what this has meant for economic development, and what can be done to improve existing policies and programs or replace them with new approaches.
