Building Bridges

To achieve cultural understanding and robust trade between Illinois and nations around the globe, Governor Pat Quinn has conducted trade missions to Mexico, Brazil and elsewhere. Monarch Butterflies

The amazing migration of millions of Monarch butterflies between Mexico and the Upper Midwest is a metaphor for the flow of people, trade and culture between Michoacán, Mexico and Illinois.
