IDOC Director recognizes six employees for exemplary performance on the job


SPRINGFIELD – May 29, 2014 – Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) Director S.A. “Tony” Godinez has commended six agency employees for outstanding performance of their duties. The director presented each employee with a certificate and an award of recognition honoring them for their professionalism and dedicated efforts.

“It’s an honor to salute these employees for their leadership, work ethic and commitment on the job,” said Godinez. ”All six being honored today excel in their positions and selflessly give of themselves in carrying out their duties. Their conscientious and diligent approach on the job helps support the agency’s goals and mission and serves as example for others to follow.”

The six IDOC employees receiving commendations were:

Rod Boyd, Clinical Services Supervisor, Logan Correctional Center

Joshua Christine, Shift Supervisor, Lincoln Correctional Center

Jason Garza, Administrative Assistant II, East Moline Correctional Center

Jason Hermeyer, Correctional Officer, Stateville Correctional Center

Andrew Munoz, Correctional Parole Agent, District 2

Debbie Rowcliffe, Correctional Counselor II, Vandalia Correctional Center
