IDOC Director recognizes five employees for exemplary job performance


SPRINGFIELD – March 13, 2014 – Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) Director S.A. “Tony” Godinez recently commended five agency employees for exemplary performance of their duties. The director presented each employee with a plaque and certificate honoring them for outstanding leadership and dedicated efforts.

“It’s an honor to recognize these five employees for their professionalism and dedication,” said Godinez. “The efficiency, diligence and initiative of these employees are most admirable. Their steadfast commitment on the job makes a significant impact on the agency’s operations and contributes immeasurably to the department’s success and mission.”

The five IDOC employees receiving commendations were:

Robin Baima, District Supervisor, Parole Reentry Group

Rachel Kennedy, Office Associate, Hill Correctional Center

Chris Sievers, Office Administrator II, Western Illinois Correctional Center

Lisa Standley, Administrative Assistant II, Logan Correctional Center

Ross Haverhals, Chaplain, Centralia Correctional Center
