Ed Ortega | Manager Placement Resource Unit
The Placement Resouce Unit (PRU) obtains residential placement for offenders who have special needs – mental health or substance abuse issues, a record of sex offense convictions, mandatory electronic detention, other restrictions imposed by the Prisoner Review Board, or a combination of all of the above. The PRU maintains and monitors contracts with service providers to help it meet its mission.
