FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT REQUESTS (FOIA)

Information requests made to the Illinois State Board of Investment (ISBI) are governed by the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (Act) (5 ILCS 140).  In accordance with the Act, ISBI may charge fees reasonably calculated to reimburse the actual cost for reproducing public records, and for the use of the equipment to copy records.  If complying with a request for information requires the reproduction of more than 100 copies, ISBI may, upon a determination of an unreasonable burden on staff or equipment, send the documents to an outside printer for reproduction.

The following fees shall apply:

Description of Charge Cost
Cost of copying documents at ISBI on ISBI copying equipment: $.15 per page
Cost of copying documents through use of an outside printer: Actual Charges
Cost of certifying a record: $1.00

There is no fee for the first 50 pages of black and white, letter or legal sized copies requested.  Upon receipt of the required payment, the documents will be released.
