FREEPORT — Lt. Governor Sheila Simon will hold a listening post meeting from 1-3 p.m. Monday, April 30 at the FHN Burchard Hills Family Healthcare Center, 1010 Fairway Drive.
Lt. Governor Simon will take ideas for improving community healthcare, education, infrastructure and employment. The information will serve as the basis for the Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs' upcoming strategic agenda, "Vision for Rural Illinois," which will be presented to the Rural Affairs Council at its July meeting.
Space is limited and registration is required. Freeport residents who wish to attend must call Christina Rogers at 217-558-3727 or email Christina.Rogers@illinois.gov by Friday, April 27.
