Welcome to the employment portal for the Illinois Office of Executive Inspector General (OEIG).  Thank you for expressing interest in the possibility of employment with our office. 

Instructions and General Information for Applying

Complete an employment application by submitting the online application or by obtaining a printable version of the application and submitting it via mail or in person.

  • Applicants must complete one application for each position/location for which they are applying. Previous applications will not be considered.
  • We only accept applications for open positions.
  • Applicants must submit the following required documents:
    1. A completed employment application
    2. A personal statement
    3. Resume
    4. Cover letter
    5. If applicable, the additional employment information from Section 3 of the application
  • Failure to submit the required documents may result in the application not being considered.

Submit a completed application to the OEIG one of three ways:

  1. Complete the online application and attach the required documents as one single file.
  2. Complete the printable version of the application. The application should be typed or printed legibly. Submit the printed copy of the required documents via mail to:
