On May 6, 2008 the Procurement Policy Board approved setting the Small Purchase Thresholds, per [30 ILCS 500/20-20], at:
Professional and Artistic: $20,000
Commodities and Services: $50,000 (plus CPI%)
Construction: $70,000 (plus CPI%)
Only the State univerisity system has promulgated rules to establish these thresholds. All other State agencies are at the previous levels:
Professional and Artistic: $20,000
Commodities and Services: $30,000 (plus CPI%)
Construction: $50,000 (plus CPI%)
