What is the Illinois Volunteer Management Network – Brief Recap
- feel free to send any program spotlight information to them
- send calendar events for them to post on the website
- recognition certificates for volunteers on‐line from Governor Quinn
- Nominate yourself or someone to the Commission
- Meet 4 times a years either in Chicago or Springfield
- Receive travel reimbursement and $125 per diem
- 16-25 youth representative (want someone 22 or younger), community-based representative, expert youth in youth development, expert in education, and public members
- go to appointments Illinois.gov and look under Serve IL Commission rules

- Joy from Community Foundations spoke about grants and fundraising research
- Call Rock Island Library to get user name and password
- Free but need to be a non‐profit
