The Serve Illinois Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service is asking for community input in Illinois’ State Service Plan. The Commission is announcing a series of six listening sessions to assist in the development of a updated three year plan to increase community service.

Serve Illinois is currently following the 2009-2012 State Service Plan. To ensure that all Illinoisans can contribute to the Service Plan, the Commission annually hosts a series of listening sessions throughout the state to encourage an open and public process.

All those who wish to contribute will be able to make public comment about the direction of Illinois’ support of service.
