A small village in the center of the state, Williamsville, Illinois is the product of generations of residents who have volunteered and cooperated to build a community of pride.  Williamsville has long taken particular interest in preserving its rich local history, having established a Historical Museum and Library in 1989 that merged with the Williamsville Public Library in 2013.  Williamsville first started documenting its history when Jane B. Groves compiled Williamsville’s 1953 Centennial booklet, which contains a chronology of events covering the Village’s first one hundred years.
