Hally Health offers a variety of virtual demos and classes through Facebook Live. Among their most popular videos are the live cooking demonstrations, which show you how to prepare simple, healthy and tasty meals. The live cooking demo will post on Facebook.com/HallyHealth at 1 p.m., on the third Wednesday of the month.


Mediterranean Pita Pizza

Ingredients
  • 2 whole-wheat pitas (6-inch diameter)
  • ¼ cup hummus
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen spinach, chopped
  • (if frozen, defrost and drain first)
  • ½ cup black beans, rinsed
  • ½ cup artichoke hearts, cut into quarters
  • ¼ cup non- or low-fat Swiss cheese, shredded
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Spread hummus evenly over pitas. Add beans, spinach and artichoke hearts.
  3. Top pitas with cheese.
  4. Bake in oven for 15 minutes or until pita is toasted. Let cool and enjoy.

Kiwi Melon Teething Pops

Ingredients
  • 1 kiwi, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup honeydew melon
  • 1 tablespoon water
Directions
  1. Blend ingredients until smooth.
  2. Pour into ice pop molds and insert tops. Freeze for 2 to 3 hours.
  3. Run the base of the molds under warm water for 30 seconds to remove pops. Enjoy!
