Medica 2018: Dusseldorf, Germany l November 12 – 15, 2018
MEDICA is the world’s largest exposition for the hospital and outpatient medical care industry. All sectors of the medical field are represented with more than 5,100 exhibitors displaying 23,000 products and 120,000 trade visitors from 130 countries. Illinois companies that exhibit can gain access to markets all over the world.

Arab Health 2019: Dubai, UAE l January 28 – 31, 2019
This is the largest, and most comprehensive, healthcare exhibition in the Middle East and the second largest in the world. In its 44th year it is expected to attract more than 85,000 healthcare professionals to visit with 4,100 exhibitors. The regional industry is worth $100 billion per year. Approximately 20% of all healthcare seekers are from the Gulf and Arab states, with UAE patients alone estimated to be spending over $2 billion on medical travel every year.

Israel Multi-Sector Mission: Israel l February 16 - 21, 2019
Over the course of four days, mission participants will attend group and customized one-on-one meetings with potential business partners in Tel Aviv, arranged by OTI’s local representative office. Additional benefits will include at least one site visit to an industry specific facility and two networking dinners.

Mobile World Congress: Barcelona, Spain l February 25 – 28, 2019
Mobile World Congress is the world’s largest annual gathering for the mobile communication and information technology industry.  2,400 exhibitors and over 107,000 attendees from 200 countries are expected at this show.

Africa Multi-Sector Mission:  Kenya & Ethiopia l March 18 – 22, 2019
An all sector trade mission to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and Nairobi, Kenya. These are the two leading economies on the horn of Africa and East Africa. Kenya is the most industrialized and the largest economy in the East African Economic Community, EACC. While Ethiopia is the second most populated country in Africa after Nigeria, with an economy that has averaged more than 5% annual growth rate in the last ten years. The best time to do business in Africa is now and Kenya and Ethiopia are the leading African markets to watch in the next ten years.  They are also among the top ten richest countries in Africa.

Water Philippines: Manila, Philippines l March 20 – 22, 2019
Organized by UBM and supported by the Philippine Water Works Association, the show is the leading international water supply, sanitation, industrial wastewater treatment and purification event in the southeast Asia. Co-located with the Water Philippines 2019 Conference, the event provides a forum for the exchange of information and ideas and sharing of experiences and best practices through technical presentations by invited experts and authorities specializing in water supply and sanitation. There are over 330 exhibitors already signed up at Water Philippines. The last time the show was held there were 8,500 visitors

Korea Multi-Sector Mission:  South Korea l April 8 - 12, 2019
The US$1.97 trillion Korean GDP ranks 11th in the world and third in the East Asia region. Illinois exports to Korea totaled $1.12 billion in 2017, ranking Illinois 9th among the 50 states in exports to Korea. As Korea’s traditional strengths in sectors such as shipbuilding, steel, and petrochemicals have declined somewhat in recent years, the country’s leaders are looking to move toward more technology-intensive industries. U.S. companies will find market opportunities in leading industries such as life sciences, healthcare (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology), industrial chemicals, IT components, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, aerospace/defense, energy, environmental technology, and transportation, to name only a few.

IE Expo: Shanghai, China l April 15 – 17, 2019
China is the largest and fastest growing emerging market for environmental technologies.  It is estimated that China’s environmental investment in the coming years will be nearly $1.3 – 1.6 trillion. An estimated $286 billion will be spent on the air pollution sector, $315 billion will be spent on the water sector, and another $315 billion spent on the soil pollutions sector. The Chinese environmental industry has kept 20 % annual growth rate from 2004 to 2017 and it is expected to keep the growth rate between 20% and 30% to 2020.

SIAL Canada: Toronto, Canada l April 30 – May 2, 2019
SIAL Canada is Canada’s largest trade show for the retail and foodservice trade. In 2018, the show had over 1,000 exhibitors from 50 different countries, and there were more than 18,000 visitors from more than 60 countries.

Africa Health 2019: Johannesburg, South Africa l May 28 – 30, 2019
Africa Health attracted more than 10,100 healthcare professionals and hosted over 553 leading international and regional healthcare and pharmaceutical suppliers, manufacturers and service providers from over 37 countries in May 2018. This is the largest Health care trade show in the region and the biggest gathering of healthcare professionals in Africa. The success of the 2018 show saw 72% of exhibitors rebook on-site.

Expo Pack 2019: Guadalajara, Mexico l June 11 – 13, 2019
Expo Pack is one of the most recognized trade events showcasing the latest solutions in packaging and processing machinery, materials, and containers. Target industries include: Food and Beverage, Processing, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics and Personal Care, Containers and Material solutions. Expo Pack drew over 600 exhibitors and more than 16,000 visitors during the 2018 edition.

Paris Air Show 2019:  Paris, France l June 17 – 21, 2019
Since its launch in 1909, the International Paris Air Show has constantly grown, and remains the largest aerospace event in the world. It will provide an occasion to meet up with all the key players in the aerospace industry, seize fresh commercial opportunities, present your expertise and innovations to the world, and form technological and industrial partnerships. The show is the premier event for all the key players from military, commercial, private and aerospace industries. In 2017, 142,000 visitors attended and there were 2381 exhibitors.

FOOMA JAPAN is a showcase of products, technologies, and services for food processing and related operations.
