The First Stop Business Information Center is a statewide resource for entrepreneurs and businesses to obtain comprehensive regulatory and permitting information.
Illinois International Trade Centers offer information, counseling and training to existing and new-to-export companies interested in pursuing international trade opportunities.
Illinois Procurement Technical Assistance Centers serve as a portal for small businesses looking to enter the world of government contracting with local, state, and/or federal government agencies. The centers provide one-on-one counseling, technical information, marketing assistance and training.
Illinois Small Business Development Centers are located throughout Illinois to provide information, confidential business guidance and training for start-up and existing small businesses.

The Regulatory Flexibility Program works with state agencies to determine the impact of their rules on small entities and to minimize that impact.
The Small Business Environmental Assistance Program provides small businesses free and confidential information and services to help them understand their environmental obligations.
The Illinois Angel Investment Tax Credit Program attracts and encourages investment dollars into early-stage, innovative companies throughout Illinois by providing a 25% tax credit to investors in innovative companies. Investments provide these companies with much needed access to working capital to further their growth and success in our state.
The Illinois New Markets Development Program (NMDP) provides supplemental funding for investment entities that participate in the Federal New Markets Tax Credit program.
The Small Business Job Creation Tax Credit offers businesses with fewer than 50 employees a $2,500 tax credit per job created.
