Location and Access:
Section 34, T32N R2W 3PM, Hennepin Township, along the Illinois River bluffs about 1 mile west of state route 26. Access is from a foot path that begins south of the boat ramp parking area at the Hennepin and Hopper Lakes Restoration Project.
Description:
The preserve is a 26-acre seep and seep-related wetland community. It is located within The Hennepin and Hopper Lakes Project and it is the largest identified seep area in the Illinois River Section of the Upper Mississippi River and Illinois River Bottomlands Natural Division.
