*Any resident youth hunter age 18 and under may purchase a Resident Youth Trapping License, which does not require the youth to have a Trapper Education Card. A youth trapper with this license must trap while supervised by a parent, Grand Parent, or guardian who is 21 years of age or older and has a valid Illinois Trapping license. The youth trapper shall not conduct the trapping activity unless the youth is accompanied by and under close personal supervision of these individuals.
