Illinois Non-Resident Archery Deer Permits Available Until June 30

SPRINGFIELD, IL—Non-resident hunters can apply through June 30 for Illinois Non-Resident Archery Combination Deer Permits for the 2010-11 deer season. 

There are 25,000 permits available through the Illinois permit lottery system and non-resident hunters can apply for one archery combination permit (one either-sex and one antlerless) for the upcoming archery season.  Season dates are October 1, 2010 through January 16, 2011 (except closed in firearm counties November 19-21 and December 2-5).

Hunters can apply for the combination archery deer permits through DNR Direct Online License Sales by clicking on the link on the IDNR home page at or by phone at 1-888-6PERMIT (1-888-673-7648).  The cost for the archery combination permit for non-resident hunters is $411.

Antlerless-only archery deer permits for non-residents will be available over the counter at IDNR license and permit agent locations, through DNR Direct Online Sales, or by phone for $25.50 each throughout the upcoming archery season.
