Description:
Join Tara Beveroth, an ornithologist from the Illinois Natural History Survey for an evening all about the owls of Illinois. Come learn what makes owls unique and beneficial. Also, find out why monitoring them will assist in aiding in the development of conservation strategies for species of concern.
After the program we will take a night hike to look for owls and Tara will call out to the species that live in the park such as the barred owl "who cooks for you, who cooks for you allllll!"
This program is pre-registration only on Starved Rock Eventbrite and will open for registrations on February 4 at 8 a.m. This program is not suitable for children, please.
