Description:
Take a leisurely stroll through the woodlands at Starved Rock with the park and volunteer naturalists this spring to view the spectacular show of spring wildflowers also known as ephemerals meaning they only last a short while before the canopy of tree leaves shades the forest floor from the summer sun. Naturalists will share fun facts such as ecological relationships and historical uses of various flowers during the short 1-2 mile hikes at the park.
