Location: Meredosia Lake is located north of Meredosia in Cass and Morgan Counties along the Illinois River

Description: Meredosia Lake is a backwater lake of the Illinois River that contains 690 huntable acres. Active habitat management will be occurring throughout the year on the site.

Ducks/Geese Statewide From legal shooting hours to 1pm during the Central Zone duck season Hunters must hunt from blinds allocated at a public drawing held in odd numbered years. Time and location of the drawing will be publicly announced. During goose season that follows regular duck season hunters can hunt any public water except the rest areas.
