IDNR Adds Asian Carp to Hunger Program Menu

CHICAGO, IL- The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) will expand its popular �Target Hunger Now!� program by making protein rich Asian carp available to Illinois families. The Department will demonstrate recipes at a dinner event featuring famed Louisiana Chef Philippe Parola. �Target Hunger Now!� is a humanitarian effort which provides food banks and other organizations throughout the state with donated venison and now Asian carp.
Members of the media are invited to arrive at 3:30 CT for a taste test and to see how Chef Philippe Parola prepares the fish.
