The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking the services of a Vendor to control exotic and invasive woody species in biologically significant nature preserves located within Chain O’Lakes, Volo Bog, and Moraine Hills State Parks in Lake and McHenry Counties. Services include careful application of herbicides using several techniques and combinations of chemicals in order to slow and reverse the degradation of rare wetland plant communities throughout these preserves by the spread of exotic plants and the invasion of aggressive woody species.
