The Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) requires maintenance and repair services for their Department owned large equipment.
Earth moving work conducted by the IDNR Heavy Equipment Crew, whether in a remote waterfowl area or at a high tourist area, is vital to the functions of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. Machinery used for this work, such as bulldozers, scrapers, excavators, endloaders, backhoes, etc., are subjected to high stresses and frequent breakdowns. IDNR's equipment is older and subject to failure at a higher rate than newer equipment. In addition to moving earth, the HEC undertakes dredging operations at IDNR facilities using two IDNR dredges. These diesel powered machines require frequent repairs that must be done on site, as the dredges cannot be easily transported.
All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted in writing to the Solicitation Contact no later than January 23, 2014.
