The Department of Natural Resources is
requesting Offers (bids/proposals) from responsible Vendors
to meet the State's needs. Below is a brief description of
our needs with detailed requirements in subsequent sections
of this solicitation. If you are interested and able to meet

The State of Illinois, Department of Natural Resources (DNR), will accept proposals from responsible Vendors interested in the operation of a restaurant, bait shop and boat rental at Lincoln Trail State Park located in Marshall, Illinois. The concession operation at Lincoln Trail will be authorized to rent, sell, serve or dispense food, confections, hot and cold beverages, souvenirs, clothing, newspapers, boating equipment, bait, fishing licenses, marine, fishing, picnic and camping supplies. Have boat and dock rental, sell Illinois Lottery Tickets and place vending machines in the park.
Lincoln Trail State Park is located in Clark County in Eastern Illinois, 2 miles south of Marshall. This 1,023 acre park features a 146 acre lake with excellent opportunities for boating and fishing. Besides the concession facilities the park also has fully developed facilities for picnicking, hiking, bicycling, two Class A campgrounds with shower buildings and a Class C camping area. Winter activities include cross country skiing, ice skating and ice fishing. Park attendance in 2011 was 454,100.
A mandatory vendor conference will be held January 23, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at the Lincoln Trail State Park Concession Building. See Section 1.4 of the Request for Proposal solicitation document.
