The “Mission” of the Wayne Fitzgerald State Recreation Area Resort is to provide accommodations to ensure a unique, satisfying, recreational experience to current and future generations of park users, provide outstanding accommodations for weddings, family reunions, hunting & fishing trips and all types of celebrations consistent with the terms of IDNR’s lease with the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Secretary of the Army.
