to meet the State's needs. Below is a brief description of
our needs with detailed requirements in subsequent sections

The State of Illinois, Department of Natural Resources (DNR), will accept proposals from partnerships, corporations and individuals interested in the operation of the restaurant, catering services, and mobile food vending service at World Shooting and Recreational Complex located in Sparta, Illinois. The restaurant operation at World Shooting & Recreational Complex will be authorized to rent, sell, serve or dispense food, confections, hot and cold nonalcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages if proper licenses are obtained, and restaurant related souvenirs.
The World Shooting and Recreational Complex is a state of-the-art 1,600-acre shooting facility which features 120 trap fields extending along a 3 ½ mile shooting line, 24 Skeet Fields, 2 Sporting Clay Fields, Cowboy Action Shooting Corral, 1000 RV Campsites, 750 of which include water, sewer and electrical hookups, a 34,000 square foot Events Center, Gift Shop, Vendor Mall, sporting related vendors and a restaurant. The site is located in scenic Southern Illinois near the city of Sparta.
A mandatory vendor conference will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at the World Shooting & Recreational Complex, Main Event Center, Meeting Room #144. See Section 1.4 of the attached Solicitation document.
