The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum has a wonderful
volunteer program.
Each year the Student Historian Program recruits volunteer judges to evaluate papers, exhibits, media projects, performances, and websites created by students for the annual Illinois History Expo.
Many of the state’s historic sites have support groups that help organize events, provide tours, and raise money.
