Submission guidelines for publishing papers in the Journal of Illinois History. The articles, chosen by the journal’s editors and an advisory board, must present sound research that draws original conclusions about state history.
Lincoln Teacher Workshops
A primary goal of the ALPLM Education Department is to help teachers teach. To that end, teacher workshops are an important component of Education Department programming. Workshops are designed for educators in most subjects and in all grade levels unless otherwise indicated.

Student Loan Default Prevention/Debt Management
ISAC was previously a loan guarantor under the Federal Family Education Loan Program, a program that ended in 2010. ISAC continues to work with those who borrowed under the program.

Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum Foundation Membership & Donations
The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library Foundation supports the educational and cultural programming of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum; fosters Lincoln scholarship through the acquisition and publication of documentary materials relating to Lincoln and his era; and promotes a greater appreciation of history through exhibits, conferences, publications, online services, and other activities designed to promote historical literacy.

The Illinois Virtual School provides students with access to a variety of online courses while staying enrolled in their current school. Students can utilize IVS for credit recovery or full service courses taught by Illinois licensed, quality instructors.
Educator Licensure Information System (ELIS)
ELIS allows all educators, administrators, district employees, licensure officers, ROEs, and the public to operate in one system. ELIS provides educators with a clear and streamlined process to apply for and maintain their credentials.

Illinois Virtual School provides educators with quality online professional development. Educators can use IVS to earn ISBE-approved professional development clock hours.
GED Online Learning (GED-i)
The mission of the Illinois Community College Board, as the state coordinating board for community colleges, is to administer the Public Community College Act in a manner that maximizes the ability of the community colleges to serve their communities, promotes cooperation within the system, and accommodates those State of Illinois initiatives that are appropriate for community colleges.
