CERA. This link is also available under Section Navigation located to the right on this page. Counties and municipal joint action agencies in Illinois may elect to participate in the 2020 electronics recycling program by submitting an opt-in form to
firstname.lastname@example.org and the point of contact designated on the form by March 1, 2019. A copy of the opt-in form will be made available shortly.
The Consumer Electronics Recycling Act establishes a statewide system for recycling and/or reusing a specific set of covered electronic devices that are discarded from residences by requiring electronic manufacturers to participate in the management of discarded and unwanted electronic products.
Electronics Recycling Collection Locations
It is important to call the collector to find out which items they accept for recycling. A collector can appear on the list below and may not be accepting all of the 17
covered electronic devices.
