Re: Application for Benefits Eligibility (ABE) – Scheduled System Outage
This Notice informs Long Term Care (LTC) providers that the Application for Benefits Eligibility (ABE), the ABE Partner Portal, and Manage My Case (MMC) will be not be available beginning at 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 2, 2021 through Tuesday, September 7, 2021 for planned upgrades.
LTC providers should wait until ABE is back online to submit applications and upload documents. Any documents with a due date to return to the state during this time should be uploaded once the system is available or LTC providers may continue to utilize the Central Scanning Unit to fax documents to 217-557-4965.
This outage will not impact customer benefits including Medical and LINK. LINK benefits will still be available to use on the scheduled issuance date.
This outage will not impact transactions completed in the Medical Electronic Data Interchange (MEDI) system.
The eligibility systems will also be down for system upgrades. The ABE Customer Call Center will be available during normal business hours but will have very limited functionality.
