Re: Notice of Request for Qualifications for Care Coordination and Support Organizations
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
This notice informs providers of the posting of a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Care Coordination and Support Organizations (CCSOs).
The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS), in collaboration with its partners at the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and Department of Human Services – Division of Mental Health (DHS-DMH) and the HealthChoice Illinois MCOs, is issuing an RFQ to solicit proposed plans from interested providers to become CCSOs for Designated Service Areas (DSAs) across the State of Illinois.
CCSOs play a critical role in the community behavioral health service delivery system, serving as local, accountable hubs responsible for delivering care coordination, mobile crisis response, and other support services to eligible customers within a particular DSA. CCSOs operate consistent with the core values and guiding principles of Systems of Care, ensuring that services are delivered in a manner that is family-driven, youth-guided, individualized, community-based, trauma-informed, culturally and linguistically competent, and data driven.
The Request for Qualifications can be found at this link. Interested applicants will have until 5:00pm on Friday, October 1, 2021, to submit applications in response to the RFQ. Completed applications are to be submitted via email to HFS.Pathways@illinois.gov.
HFS will be hosting Conferences for Interested Applicants on September 7th and September 8th to answer process questions or to provide clarity regarding any requirements outlined in the RFQ. The conferences require pre-registration for attendees.
Questions regarding this notice may be directed to the Bureau of Behavioral Health via telephone at 217-557-1000 or email at HFS.Pathways@illinois.gov.
