Re: ICF/IID and MC/DD Rate Changes Effective July 1, 2021 and January 1, 2022
This Notice informs Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IIDs), Medically Complex for the Developmentally Disabled Facilities (MC/DDs), and associated Developmental Training providers that the Department received federal approval to implement the rate increases specified in PA 102-0016.
July 1, 2021 rates have been entered into the State's payment system and the Department has systematically repriced claims that were paid at lower rates. Vouchers for the payment adjustments were created on December 18, 2021 and have been paid. All newly submitted claims are being priced using the updated rates.
January 1, 2022 rates have been entered into the State's payment system. All claims for January and after services should price at the updated rates without needing adjustments.
