Pursuant to Public Act 102-1035 (ilga.gov), the Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) has implemented a new reimbursement methodology for nursing facilities effective July 1, 2022.
On Monday July 25, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., HFS will host a webinar for nursing facilities and interested parties to provide an overview of the new rate system. Please use the following link to access the webinar:

HFS will provide information on the various components of the nursing rate, methodologies and data sources used in the calculation of the nursing component rate, information on directed payments for Quality Incentives and Certified Nurse Assistant wage pass-throughs, and available resources for providers. There will also be time allocated for provider questions.
