Re: 2023 Hospital Directed Payment and Passthrough and Proposed Supplemental Payments Notifications on Website

The Department has posted information in accordance with Public Act 102-0886 to the Hospital Reimbursement Notifications Website. The calendar year 2023 directed payment pools and rates as well as the calendar year hospital classification and passthrough payments have been posted under the Directed Payment and Passthrough Reports section. In addition, the Department has also posted the proposed updates to the fee-for-service supplemental payments and the graduate medical education (GME) program. These payments are subject to federal approval and upon approval, will be effective January 1, 2023.
