Re: Rate Increases for Medi-Car, Service Car, and Attendant Services Effective January 1, 2023, per Public Act 102-1037

This notice announces updated medi-car, service car, and attendant rates effective with dates of services beginning January 1, 2023.
In accordance with Public Act 102-1037, medi-car, service car, and attendant rates have been increased. The Act did not include increases for private auto or taxi rates. A revised Non-Ambulance Transportation Fee Schedule effective January 1, 2023, is posted to the Department of Healthcare and Family Services' (HFS) website.
There are no changes to the transportation billing process. Providers should continue to bill their usual and customary charge for each procedure code.
