Re: Correction to Psychiatric Collaborative Care Model Guidelines

This notice announces a correction to the Psychiatric Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) Guidelines that were released in conjunction with the provider notice dated June 21, 2022. The correction applies to services for customers covered under the Medicaid fee-for-service program and the Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs).
On page three of the CoCM Guidelines, under the topic "Psychiatric Consultant", licensed clinical psychologists have been removed as an allowable provider, as their prescription authorities do not allow them to encompass what is required under the model. All other information remains the same.
The CoCM Guidelines have been updated. Questions regarding this notice may be directed to a billing consultant in the Bureau of Professional and Ancillary Services at 877-782-5565 or the applicable MCO.
