Check boxes are not mutually exclusive. You may select as many as you like. A checkmark in the box indicates the checkbox is selected. To unselect a checkbox, click it until the checkmark disappears. You can also highlight the checkbox and hit the spacebar on your keyboard to select/unselect a check box.
