If you registered as an Administrator, this page also displays the Employee Registration Key. If you want employees to register for the business you just registered, use your browser's print feature to print a copy of this page. Give the Employee Registration key to your employees so they can register.
If you are interested in exchanging HIPAA-compliant data with HFS through the IEC System application, this page provides information about the sender and receiver values you must use in your HIPAA-compliant transmissions. You should print this page to retain this information.
Important: If registered in the Provider, Payor or Payee category, the business should be able to submit/receive HIPAA-compliant transmissions within 24 hours of its registration. If registered in the Other Business (or Payee) category, the business will be able to submit/receive HIPAA-compliant transmissions for a provider within 24 hours of receiving the provider's authorization. If registered as a Payor Submitter in the Other Business category, the business will be able to submit/receive HIPAA-compliant transmissions for a payor within 24 hours of receiving the payor's authorization.
