Information Sessions: K-12 Broadband Network

DESCRIPTION

Please join the Department of Innovation & Technology and the Illinois Century Network for one of four  informational sessions focusing on the Illinois K-12 Broadband Network. We are are excited to announce that state funding has been allocated for a secure K-12 Broadband Network available at no cost for all Illinois K-12 public schools. 

This program removes barriers limiting access to secure Internet bandwidth essential in today's digital learning environment. The key objective is to provide connectivity through the Illinois Century Network (ICN), ensuring every Illinois public K-12 school has sufficient and fully funded bandwidth to meet the needs of their students, faculty and administration.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Upon registering, participants will be emailed the webinar link and login instructions 48 hours prior to each session. During the one-hour session, you can communicate with the presenter and panelists. If you are unable to attend, a complete audio-visual recording will be posted, viewable at your convenience on the DoIT-ICN website.
