Offender Interview Requests:
Write the offender a detailed letter with your request. If he or she agrees to an interview, scan the letter, along with the envelope it arrives in, and email them to the Public Information Officer. Please note: consent from the offender does not guarantee the interview will be approved.

Documentary, Film or other Production Requests:
Please send your detailed inquiry to the Public Information Officer. Please note: there are fees associated with all productions inside IDOC facilities.
Offender Photo Requests:
Offender photos are available on the IDOC website on the Offender Search page. Photos of former offenders are confidential per Illinois statute.
Cameras and Recording Devices:
Possession of any camera, microphone or other recording device within an IDOC facility is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Public Information Officer.
