The State of Illinois requires the posting of this Government Warning sign (regarding the possibility of birth defects when women drink alcoholic beverages while pregnant) in all Illinois liquor-licensed establishments. This sign was recently updated to include a phone number, allowing pregnant women to seek assistance for substance abuse, if they so choose.
